A founding partner and principal of RFP, David Allen has served as the Chief Investment Officer for the company’s capital base of over $900 million, and is a senior member of the investment committee. He has more than 38 years of real estate experience in the areas of acquisitions, evaluations, dispositions, development and consulting. Prior to forming RFP, Mr. Allen was Senior Vice President and Chief Real Estate Officer of Congress Realty Group. At Congress, he managed the acquisition and liquidation of over $600 million of real estate assets, including A.J. Lane, Commonwealth Mortgage Co., Goldweitz & Co./Mortgage Investors Corp., Harold Brown and Monarch Capital Corp./Sovereign Realty Co. Formerly, he was with Scott Management Co., where he was responsible for the management of over 3,000 apartments, the conversion of 1,300 condominium units and the rehabilitation of commercial office buildings. Mr. Allen holds a Bachelors degree from Suffolk University.
